Unveiling a Vision: A New Era for a Storied Mountain

We're thrilled to share a groundbreaking master plan that will transform a beloved but underutilized mountain into a premier, world-class resort destination. This comprehensive vision builds upon the rich history and natural beauty of the area, creating an unparalleled experience for all who visit.

From Rustic Charm to Refined Alpine Luxury

Our approach is rooted in a deep respect for the mountain's heritage, carefully integrating its existing character with modern amenities and expanded terrain. The goal is to blend an authentic alpine feel with the sophistication and convenience demanded by today's discerning travelers.

The Heart of the Resort: A Pedestrian-First Village

At the core of this transformation is a thoughtfully designed base village, conceived as a vibrant, pedestrian-only hub. Imagine stepping off the slopes directly into a bustling plaza, where a grand lodge welcomes you with crackling fireplaces and stunning mountain views. This central gathering place will feature charming boutiques, delectable dining options, and cozy accommodations, all within a stone's throw of the lifts. The village is designed to foster a sense of community and ease, allowing guests to truly immerse themselves in the mountain experience without the intrusion of vehicle traffic.

Expanding the Canvas: Enhanced Terrain for Every Skier

The master plan introduces significant terrain expansion, designed to cater to every level of skier and rider, from first-timers to seasoned experts.

The Summit Challenge: A new high-alpine pod will unlock steeper chutes and exhilarating glades, adding significant vertical and advanced terrain that will challenge even the most experienced.

Cruiser Paradise: Mid-mountain will feature an array of wide, immaculately groomed intermediate trails, perfect for carving long turns and enjoying the scenic descent.

Beginner-Friendly Zones: Dedicated learning areas with gentle slopes and modern magic carpets will ensure a safe and fun introduction to skiing and snowboarding for new enthusiasts.

Scenic Western Expansion: A new lift will open up a series of winding, picturesque trails on the mountain's western flank, offering beautiful views and enjoyable runs for all abilities.

Beyond the Snow: A Year-Round Destination

Recognizing the desire for adventure in every season, the master plan thoughtfully incorporates robust multi-season offerings:

Summer Recreation: Extensive plans for mountain biking trails, hiking networks, and access to nearby natural waterways will transform the resort into a vibrant warm-weather destination.

Event Hosting: Upgraded facilities, including potential mid-mountain lodges, will create unique venues for weddings, corporate retreats, and special events against a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

A Commitment to Excellence

This master plan is more than just an expansion; it's a commitment to creating an iconic resort. Every detail, from lift placement to architectural style, has been carefully considered to ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience. We believe this vision will establish the resort as a jewel in the region, attracting visitors seeking a blend of adventure, luxury, and authentic mountain charm.

The Implementation Roadmap: Phase 1 (Years 1–3)

To ensure a sustainable and high-quality transformation, we have established a clear three-year strategic rollout:

Year 1: Foundation & Infrastructure Revival

Focus shifts to stabilizing the mountain's core. This includes a complete overhaul of the existing snowmaking pump house and the refurbishment of current lift systems. We will also begin the meticulous clearing of heritage trails that have seen overgrowth, restoring the mountain’s classic lines.

Year 2: Access & The Village Anchor

We break ground on the Grand Lodge, a 40,000 sq. ft. centerpiece. This year also sees the paving of primary access roads and the installation of the "Learning Zone" with modern Magic Carpets to welcome the next generation of skiers.

Year 3: Expansion & The Express Era

The transformation accelerates with the installation of a High-Speed Quad, significantly increasing uphill capacity. Simultaneously, we will open the first block of luxury Slopeside Chalets, allowing for a true ski-in/ski-out residential experience.

A New Canvas: The Expanded Trail Network

The master plan introduces a reorganized and expanded trail system designed to honor the local geography while offering world-class variety.

The Summit Peak (Expert & High-Alpine)

Utilizing a new 400' vertical extension, this pod unlocks the mountain's true potential:

Silent Cal: A steep, narrow double-black diamond fall-line.

Granite State: Technical glade skiing through the upper hardwoods.

The Oath: A wide, wind-buffed alpine bowl with 360-degree views.

The Main Face (Intermediate & Advanced)

Revitalized classics for the modern cruiser:

Salt Ash Highway: Our signature blue cruiser with consistent pitch and grooming.

The Chute: A traditional "bump" run kept narrow and un-groomed for the purists.

Woodpecker Glade: Managed tree skiing that offers an accessible introduction to the woods.

The Western Pod & Village Connectors

New terrain designed for families and casual exploration:

Goldbrook: A gentle, sun-drenched green trail for beginners.

Cheese Factory: A playful run with natural rollers that leads directly into the heart of the village.

Coolidge Way: A scenic "ski-home" path providing direct access to the new slopeside residences.

Quick Facts: The Mountain at a Glance

Recognizing the desire for adventure in every season, we are incorporating robust multi-season offerings, including extensive mountain biking flow trails, hiking networks, and a shuttle service to nearby natural waterways for summer recreation.

Stay tuned as we begin to bring this exciting vision to life. This is more than just an expansion—it is a commitment to creating an iconic, low-density, and high-luxury mountain enclave.
